I remembered the time when I was copying this mangaka's style (she was my inspiration, though)
i used to be overly obsessed with Hino's style, but after being overly discriminated and criticized, i had to change. she is still my number one inspiration~ i love everything about her art, her plots, her twists, her hidden meanings, everything! Hino's just too full of surprises^^ but now, my art style is more based between Hino(VK), Fujiwara(KWMS!)and of my own..im still keeping an eye if people will someday see the difference with my style and Hino's
Yeah. I remember the time when my friend recommended the series for me. I watched the anime first then read the manga later on.
My style used to be based from her too. But later on I got other inspirations that I later changed it.
ever since i discovered Hino, it has been really hard for me to do "moe" illustrations ; u ; (since my art style has always been serious, dark or has something behind it OTL)but now im working on ONE illustration that's moe..seeing that it's something most shojo mangakas do..
Well, I once watch the anime and the manga at the same time once. Yeah, the anime does skip a lot (they even change some spaces I mean what do you call it?).
Hmm I used to draw "moe" (no not the shojo ones but art styles from shonen/seinen animes full of girls that targets male audience). I also used to draw gothic lolitas (or even bunnies), black clothes, etc. because of this mangaka but right now my style became a bit..um lighter. I kinda lost interest in drawing gothic stuffs these days.
Um..you said you wanted to become a mangaka right? What kind of stories are you gonna write?
i've never done something moe i think...hmm..i used to draw gothic lolita too, but now, i want to be more all-around style, something like that. from cute dresses, gothic, sweet to boyish, sweaters, patterns, cardigans, coats, leathers, casual and other formal clothes. im planning to have a wider range of fashion.
what kind of stories? hmm..im really sorry, but i can't spoil any of my plots right now
in my opinion, i think mangakas shouldn't spoil their plots in public
